On a corner kick drill a low cross to the man closest to you and the goal and while the ball is going towards the player keep tapping the circle button or kick button (whatever system you are using) this works like 95% of the time 5% of the time the player will just miss the ball but sometimes another one of your players can hit it.

I have a good tricks for corner, if you pass the ball to the closest player in your team with a ground pass. The player will run to the ball, when he is controlling the ball. You sprint pass all the player, running a few cm away from the out line and run until you are center of the goal and shoot. You will score a goal for sure. Because if you a running a few cm away from the out line 99% the goalie will not coming out. It works in all the levels.

This is my favourite corner trick...

When you're going to take the corner, press the spacebar until 'Set-Piece 3' comes up. Wait until a player approaches the goal with 'W' above him, then press 'W' and then hold 'D', the player will head the ball into the goal most of the times.

Hi, I found an almost sure way to score on free kicks near the 18yd box. (it works nearly always on World Class, I haven't tested it on lower levels.)

Take the aim that the player automatically starts with when taking the kick, or aim at the middle of the wall. Add full spin *into* the keeper: so if I'm to the right of the goal, I put in full left spin, or if I'm to the left, I use full right spin. Make the ball curl towards the keeper. Don't touch the height, and kick it full strength. It usually curls around the outside of the wall and goes it. Works about 90% here. Move over David Beckham! ;)

At higher difficulties in FIFA 2000, tackling almost becomes exponentially difficult. The best trick I know for tackling tough (or dodgy?) ball-handlers is to mark them with a defender, and then REPEATEDLY tap the tackle button (the "C" button on the Sidewinder), all the while literally aiming for the ball with the D-pad. If this fails, use the slide-tackle (the "A" button), or the aggressive-tackle button (for those Vinnie Jones/Graeme Souness fans out there!). Unlike FIFA 99, one or two taps usually isn't enough, especially at World Class level.

If the defender stays still with the ball at the end of the penalty box, the attacker of the opponent will crush you and the referee will 9 of the 10 times give a yellow or red card to the opponent if you do this again he will get his second yellow card and that will be red and off he goes.

If you want a high score, try putting 3 guys in front, with the best in the centre. If you don't know which is the best, refer to the overall rating of the player (can be found in team management > starting lineup). Try to get the ball once kickoff, then head for the goal. Keep tapping W like mad so that the player moves very fast. When a player is in your path, swerve to the left or right a little bit so that you won't bang into him. Keep your distance from him. If he is hot on your heels, the more you should tap W. If you've followed my instructions, you should be 1 on 1 with the keeper. At most, with a defender chasing right behind you. keep moving, don't slow down or else you will lose the ball. Shoot when you are about 2-4 metres from the keeper. 2m is the minimum. It is very dangerous because the keeper might grab the ball from your feet. Aim left or right too! 4
out of 5 times it will end up in the back of the net. The 1 time will usually be a corner (great!). If the player chasing right behind you slided, chances are you will get
a penalty. But if he misses (because you are too far ahead), then shoot! Don't waste your chance. for a penalty, always shoot the top of the side closes to you. you might want to bend the rules a little bit if the goalkeeper already knew your tactic.
Another way to escape from the defender is to use 360 degrees spin or zig zag. Run (zig zag) away from him differently everytime, and time everything properly. Using zig zag is a little bit tricky, but with timing, you should be all right.
