| I have some tricks for corners. 1) Shot in to the middle full
strength, at first atacker and then keep tapping D and the the striker will nail the ball
into the goal.
2) Hold Alt or Ctrl (it does matter of side of corner, the arrow must be pointing into
the goal), then tap spacebar twice, wait until the striker run into the box and then press
A,W or D and hold D + up (or down). The player will put the ball in corner of the goal. |

| In FIFA 2000, it is much easier to run at the defending players.
Try to pass the ball up to a striker who is central but about half way into the opponents
half. If you can hold the ball up, draw the defender to you and just before he gets near,
turn and use sprint to get away from him-towards the goal. If the opponent has a flat back
line then you will one on one with the keeper now, with a defender giving chase. If you
run diagonal to the goal the attacker does a really good job of holding off the defender
with his arm. Then as the keeper comes out, just put a bit of curl on it at the edge or
just inside the box and slot it home. It's an easy goal to score on World Class. And on
Professional you can try and just run straight at the defender without even trying to draw
him and hold it up. |

| Great tip for scoring. When you're in the penalty box and the
keeper's gonna go for the ball, use the through pass (with or without direction, depends
on where you're coming from) and... GOAL!!! :D |

| I use a 3-3-4 strategy. You have to put your fastest forwards on
the sides and put the ones that have the best shot accuracy and power in the middle. Now
all you need to do is to pass to the sides and tap the speed burst button (W) like crazy.
When (and if) you shake off the defenders simply pass to your center attackers and tap
shoot as soon as you do it. Opponent Goal

| When you can't win when you're playing a season, change the
tactic from man-to-man to zonal. The AI will now be easier to beat! (really!). |

Goalkeepers are pretty aggressive about coming off the line to
smother the ball in FIFA 2000. That makes it tough to score on a breakaway, frequently
forcing you to shoot from around the 18. One way around this is to use the hurdle button.
When you come into the box on a breakaway, wait until you see the goalkeeper move off the
line and then hit the hurdle button. Usually, you and the ball will sail over the keeper,
and often the momentum will carry the ball into the net. If it doesn't, a
quick tap of the shoot or pass button will put the ball away. Michael Owen demonstrates in
the attached file. ;) |

| When the keeper has the ball in his hands you can do the
following thing: press the Q button to let the keeper let go off the ball, right after
that push the A button. Now the keeper kicks the ball super fast and it goes far. |

I have a good strategy for scoring goals. Almost all my goals
are scored the same way. Talking about the AI, the computer never adapted itself to my
playing way.
My strategy is simply that I play with a 4-3-3 way with a sweeper. I pass the ball
backwards until it reaches the left wing defender. Then I pass it with Q to the left wing
midfielder then with Q again to the left forward player. The forward player then runs to
the side line of the pitch. I shield the ball and fake the defender and then make an over
for the right forward player who will strike it by the head or make a volley kick. Just
put in the right and left strikers good players with good headers and strong bodies. You
can do this from either sides. I mean change left with right. This is a 100% scoring
chance.Opponent Goal

I pass until the ball with LB then I pass with Q to LM then to LF. LF
shield the ball and fake the defender and make a lob ball to CF or RF, and they'll win the
aerial duel frequently if they have strong header/body.
P.S. - I play with Chelsea, with no modifications or cheats. My strikers are
Petrescue and Forsell for the right and left strikers. |

| On a corner kick, send the ball to the most open man in front of
the goal, and bang the Circle button to shoot as soon as the guy gets the ball. In most
situations, a conservative tackle will do the job. Only use aggressive tackles when you
desperately need to get the ball, like when the opponent is close to your goal.
Be very careful when aiming your aggressive tackles (Square button). Try to aim so that
your foot will hit the ball and not the other player, or else you risk getting called for
a foul.
Bang on the Triangle button when you have the ball to sprint like a madman.
Use the lob pass to send the ball up over crowds when you have to make a long pass and
don't want the ball stolen. |
