Patch Of The Day Released!
Patch Of The Day : End Of An Era is at this moment being uploaded to our servers by Chris. Its a little later than planned (Chris decided to convert the stadia to work in software mode too, and the installer was troublesome) but its over and done with now. It is a tonking great 21Mb but worth every single moment of the download. At this moment it is only 50% up so I can't give out the URL just yet - however when it is finished I trust my good friend Matt will update you with the URL so you can get stuck in! Posted by

Patch Of The Day - Very Close Now
I've just poppped over here to tell you all that Patch Of The Day : End Of An Era is finished - 100%! Chris is just building the installer and will begin the task of uploading this monster with his 56K modem :)
The good news for those of you with broadband connections and slower connections alike is that there will be two varieties of file - an all-in-one file which should weigh in at somewhere around 25Mb, and about 15-20 bite size files of 1.44Mb, which was specifically requested by some of you when we released the original POTD.
While we await the arrival of POTD on our servers, why not download the official 'menu mix'? Its an 8.5Mb file and can be found here. Posted by

POTD: Stunning New Screens
It has certainly been worth the wait. As Matt said earlier, and as I newsflashed on Soccer Gaming earlier, we have got some big news on Patch Of The Day: End Of An Era today. The patch is now 90% complete, with some stadium and pop-up tweaking still to be done. It should be released over the next couple of days, fingers firmly crossed. For now, bask in the glory of these four shots, exclusive to the Soccer Gaming network, and in particular the new photo realistic faces, new numbers and Elland Road stadium of Shot 3, which I reckon shows that this patch will be the best ESP yet - and you haven't even heard the chants yet!

Hopefully that will have whetted your appetite. You can discuss the shots and get the latest release news straight from Chris and I on our Forum&number=2&DaysPrune=10&LastLogin=">Forum.

GFA Beta Version Released!
This great news from Stefan Münstedt:
Greetings from Germany! We from German FIFA 2OOO Online and Friends
(http://german.fifa2000.net) have released the first beta-version
of our german super-patch 'GFA 2000' (German FIFA 2000 AddOn).
Here's a short features-listing:
Original data of the 1st Bundesliga
Original jerseys of the 1st Bundesliga
Original Bundesliga-adboards
7 Original Bundesliga-stadiums
New shorts and socks
New Videoclip
Some other interesting things...
So what's so special? Undoubtedly the new videoclip, which replaces
the little EA product-clip. It's really an amazing quality with a cool
music-track. Then we've our special jerseys ("Generation X").
GX-jerseys are jerseys, which you've never seen before. They're imported from "Bundesliga Stars 2000". It's really an unbelievable quality. Better than every 128C-Jersey!
Please notice, that this version of the GFA 2000 ("GFA 2000 beta
v.0.89") is a =beta= version. It still contains a lot of errors in the data and the IGM's. Moreover the jerseys are not optimized yet, so they'll get a little bit better in the final-version.
Related links:
German FIFA 2000 Online = http://german.fifa2000.net
German FIFA 2000 AddOn (off. site) = http://fifa2000.gnw.de/gfo2k/gfa/
We've made a little package (2.6 mb) without the new videoclip and
a bigger package (10.3 mb) with the new videoclip.
You can get it @ our GFA 2000 homepage!

DON'T MISS A MINUTE!

FIFA 2000 Fan Site Championship!!
Tor Ove Angletveit from Fifa Millennium Crew 2000 has Emailed me this truly Fantastic idea!
"OK! Every Fifa2000 fan site, listen up! here is what this means!!!!
We at Fifa Millennium Crew 2000 has a great idea, about making a Championship for every fifa2000 fan site on the net.
What we mean is, that one of the members of every fifa2000 fan site, should play in the championship(this would be the head webmaster) Every team has their own kits to use in the tournament. Here is what you need to do if you want to play!
Your site needs a Kit to play with
Choose a team to customise
Make ONE adboard with you sitename on it
Sign up at Fifa Millennium Crew 2000 site
Thats it! And if this works out, we hope this can be a tradition every year! so next year someone else host the championship (this will be drawn by the current host)
When we have recieved the kit & the adboard your site has made for use in the tournament, we will make a patch and make it Available for download for the teams in the tournament..
Please feel free to make any comment on this! If you want to do, you can do it here"
This sound like a great idea so I suggest all you webmasters head over there and sign up right away! Posted by

English Version of Fifamania.it's great new Texture Editor program now available
It will allow you to associate 3d objects of stadiums to their texture. So you put a texture only in a part of the stadium and don't see it repeated in every part.... you can easly create derby stadiums with two different fan parts.... or put a special flag only in a specific part...etc etc etc......
You can find it in the English page of Italia.soccergaming.com (fifamania.it) Posted by

New MRA Theme Tune
If all the excitement of the pending release of www.fifa-mra.com and version 3.1 of the MRA with multi language support was not enough, we now have the added attraction of a theme tune for the MRA. This is kindly being developed by Craig Magee (alias RedKola), who was actually the same person who had the original idea for MRA Skins.
Craig is already a successful music producer and you can find tracks from his forthcoming album at mp3.com. Our deepest thanks go out to Craig, and also to our good friend Rich Butler for producing a Flash movie so we can provide you with a preview of Craig's work. The full version of this song will be available here soon and will also be included on Craig's new album.
If you like what you hear then I recommend visiting Craig's work at mp3.com.
Listen to a snippet of the first draft of this track entitled "Floodlit Arena" by clicking here. ENJOY and please post your comments on what you think of this snippet. Posted by

The FIFA Cup
I've just been messaged by Stephen Lee, the founder of FIFA Cup. Here's what he wants me to spread around the FIFA community about his recent tournament:The first FIFA Cup has been won. Jon Chu (aka Ichibanchunafishy) beat Fil Borkowy in a two leg final to clinch the cup. FIFA 2000 was used in the 1st leg, and FIFA 99 was used in the 2nd leg. Jon trailed Fil 3-10 after the 1st leg. He stormed back to win the 2nd leg 10-1, winning the tie 13-11 overall. Jon's success earnt him a cheque for £150 and the honour of being the first FIFA Cup winner. You can read all about it at www.fifacup.co.uk and also read the latest news regarding the next FIFA Cup, which will start in the summer. The FIFA Cup website is based in England, so only UK players can join the competition.
For more information regarding the FIFA Cup, you are more than welcome to pay a visit to the FIFA Cup website. Posted by

FIFA Gamer's New Upcoming People's Patch
I got this message from Sam Tiesen:
"We at www.fifa00.com are currently working on the new patch called the PEOPLES PATCH. As the Fifa 2000 title comes to an end we at fifagamer www.fifa00.com have decided why not bring back the fantastic stadiums, kits, ingame graphics, rosters, and any other downloads back to the game in 1 big file. We have come up with the Peoples Patch. It is named this because you the people will request exactly what download on the internet you want to see in the patch. We will notify the author and we will organize it into this huge patch.
We will also need your help for this to work. Simply go over to our fifagamer forum, sign up and post what downloads you want to see with a link to them for us to evaluate. You can also e-mail us at FIFAGamer.com with the file attached. We will take a look at it and evaluate it.
The patch will include the top files made by people for fifa 2000 from around the planet. These are some of the features:
The top 8 stadiums
The top 54 best club kits
The best turfs
Ingame pop ups
Updated Rosters for the day the download will come out
New menus (We will create them)
Best ball will be used
New music (which you may request what songs you want)
New adboards"
This patch can be considered an all star patch. The best packed into one. www.fifa00.com will have more news on it as the days come with your response. So give them an e-mail on what you want to see included in this great patch.

I just opened TUTORIAL CORNER. It will be a site which contains a lot of tutorials for the FIFA-series. I will add a Jersey-tutorial tomorrow. End on the end of next week I will post the (for some people) long awaited Pop-up tutorial.
Next up will be a .t3d tutorial and a moving objects tutorial (buttons, ball, pillon, etc.). All the tutorials will be available in .txt and .html format. The HTML format will have pictures to make the tutorial much clearer.
I will start with Tutorials for FIFA 2000, when EURO 2000 and FIFA 2001 are released you can expect tutorials for these games too. For now the Tutorials will be available in: English, Dutch, German. If my sites gets popular, I am considering to add other languages aswell. My site is located @: http://www.tudu.nl/tutorial/
Sounds excellent to me, well worth a visit! Posted by

Pop Up Graphics Tutorial Available
That is right, the pop up graphics technique has been discovered over at FIFA Centre Spot. Now you too can create your own pop up graphics using their new tutorial. It is in HTML format but there is a download available near the end of the tutorial.
I would recommend heading over to Fifa Centre Spot MLS 2000 if you want to create your own great Pop Up graphic patches.

TUDU 2000 Update
We have received some additional news regarding TUDU 2000:
Due to server problems we were unable to upload the TUDU 2000 in parts. Now we have updated our site and have the patch also available in 5 x 4MB - for people with lower speed connections.
Please see the above screen shot of the De Kuip training site - one of the hex-edited stadiums and then keep up to date with TUDU 2000 by visiting the news section at http://www.tudu.nl/nieuws.shtml
